so here i am, stuck at home thanks to a cold/ flu. this week hasnt been very good for my health, but it has given me some tome to do something that i have always wanted to do: beat the original Legend of Zelda for the first time ever beofore ever!! As a kid, i would watch April and Mike play on our NES, but whenever i tried, i couldnt get past screen 3; pathetic. i would even get more frusterated whe Adventers of Link came out and i would just walk in circles confused. then as time passed, i forgot about it until it was already too late and our NES broke. But thanks to technology, i am able to finally get this chance with my Legend of Zelda: Colectors Edition Cd that came with my Gamecube. Now that im playing it, i must say that im actually pretty impressed with the graphics and how big the game actually is. compared to other games ive played from that generation (the game came out in 1986- my birthyear) they seem to only be capeable of up, down, left, right movements- while Link cannot attack diagonally, movements and monster attacs are. not to mention that there is more than just one extremely repetitive soundtrack. what also amazes me is that there is quests, side quests, and 6 dongenons with multiple villians that have many of their own attacks. and i also cant beleive how unbeleivabley confusing it is! i have had to look up walkthoughs and hints multiple times (cleaver japanesesss). im impressed.
